Capel Manor Gardens Announces Thrilling Halloween Events and New Exclusive Ghost Tours
Following the bewitching success of last year’s Halloween event at Capel Manor Gardens in Enfield, we are excited to announce a jam-packed week of frightful delights for children and adults alike!
As well as the return of our popular family Halloween-themed event and our ghostly gardens trail, we are also introducing exclusive haunted history tours of the 17th century Georgian Manor House and twilight gardens tours for adults only. For the first time we will be opening the doors of the Manor House to the public for exclusive access to archives and footage never revealed before and the rare opportunity to uncover Capel Manor’s dark, mysterious past.
Halloween Spooktacular at Capel Manor Gardens
From Saturday 25 October to Monday 27 October 2025, families can visit our main Halloween event set amongst our beautiful 30-acre estate. Visitors are encouraged to dress-up in their scariest costumes and enjoy a variety of themed fun including live entertainment, spooky storytelling, creepy creature talks and petting at our mini zoo, crafts, thrilling interactive experience and plenty of pumpkins and photo opportunities.

Halloween Ghostly Gardens Trail
Escape the crowds at our main Halloween event by joining us for a Ghostly Gardens Trail at Capel Manor Gardens from Tuesday 28 October to Friday 31 October 2025. This quieter alternative allows children and families to explore at their own pace. Wander through our 30 acres of themed gardens and take on our eerie gardens trail activity to earn a Halloween treat!

Capel Manor House: Haunted History Daytime Tour
For those curious about history and the paranormal, we are offering limited haunted history tours of the 17th century Georgian Manor House that sits within Capel Manor Gardens. For the first time, visitors (aged 18+ only) will have the rare opportunity to explore the Manor House and its archives. Led by an expert guide, visitors will be taken on a private tour and discover the estate’s ghoulish secrets.

Capel Manor After Dark: Ghostly Tales and Historical Tour
For one night only on Thursday 30 October 2025 from 6pm to 8pm, visitors (18+only) can uncover the hidden, haunted history of Capel Manor Gardens with this VIP experience. Led by an expert guide, this after-hours event will take visitors through the torch-lit pathways of our 30-acre estate whilst unravelling Capel Manor’s ghoulish secrets. Usually closed to the public, the 17th century Manor House will be open for a private tour for the very first time. Visitors will enjoy exclusive extras including a glass of wine from Forty Hall Vineyard and a Capel Manor gift bag to take home.
