Conductor John Landor and the London Musical Arts Orchestra have been thrilling young audiences with their Saturday afternoon Mini Maestro Family Concerts at the famous church of St Martin-in-the-Fields over the last 13 years. These creative, educational and fun events are full of lots of opportunities to get close-up to the orchestra, meet the friendly musicians, sing, clap and even conduct!
The first three concerts of their 2019-20 series begin on 21 September with Mozart’s wonderful symphony No. 40 alongside Handel’s Water Music, on 19 October there’s ‘Autumn’ and ‘Winter’ from Vivaldi’s famous ‘Four Seasons’, and on 16 November you can enjoy the brilliance of the Baroque with Pachelbel’s ‘Canon in D’ . All the concerts run from 4.30-5.30pm and take place at St Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square.
