The fading light of the Winter’s sun, starts the magic of Thursford. Your journey will progress into the Fantasy Land Building, as you travel past the penguins and polar bears to the giant-sized teddy bears! Get ready to pass the busy elves as they load Santa’s sleigh using the wondrous wrapping machine and keep a look out for the snowman family and their snowballs!

Your journey continues as you venture outside to the Lantern Light Extravaganza, with lots of creatures to marvel at – a beautiful, breath-taking festival of luminous sculptures, from a fantasy underwater world to the wilds of the North Pole. Watch out for the naughty mushroom gnomes!

Blicking's Garden of Lights Paws Evening

For this night only, visitors are able to book tickets for their dogs to attend the event as well. For everyone's safety and to create the best possible experience, tickets for dogs must be booked at a ratio of one adult to every one dog. Dogs must be kept under close control on a short, non-extendable lead throughout. We ask that owners bring waste bags, appropriate leads and anything else their dog might need.

A night of enchantment awaits. A walk through our quant Christmas Lights trail through our woodland taking in the king and queen oak trees and marvelling at all the light up deer families through the gardens. From colourful twinkles to white fairy lights, follow up your walk with a hot chocolate and marshmallow by the fire. (No need to book under 4's or dogs)

Enjoy Aylsham Station all lit up and decorated, whilst listening to Aylsham Brass Band playing festive favourites, before boarding their special evening train for a 60 minute journey by steam through Norfolk's night sky.

Included in the price of your ticket is not only your train travel, but festive refreshments, which can be enjoyed on the train and a special 10% discount on any purchases from our shop during the evening (excludes model railway items)

NB: Santa will not be present as he is busy preparing for the Festive Express Trains for the little ones!
