Wymondham College

‘Wymondham College is nestled on 83-acres surrounded by stunning Norfolk countryside, an idyllic backdrop to live and learn, and close to the historic city of Norwich. Positioned in the East of England, it is well connected with air, rail, and road access.

Graded double Outstanding for both education and boarding by Ofsted in 2023, its academic achievements are amongst the highest in the country, complemented by an extensive enrichment programme and international trips that expand horizons and deepen learning.

Wymondham College is the largest co-educational state boarding and day school in the UK, welcoming students from ages 11 to 18 with a prep school for children from age 4 and boarding for children from age 9. Our boarding house structure means students belong to a smaller community where pastoral and wellbeing support ensures every child is known and cared for.

Its World Class status reflects the high-quality, all-round education students receive for free, many going onto Oxford, Cambridge, and Russell group universities. Considering all these aspects of such a unique College, it is fantastic value for money and with the College’s charity status, there is a modest boarding fee.

The College is steeped in a rich heritage and cherishes its history, while continuing to innovate and lead education nationally.’

Are you part of a school, club or organisation looking to help a local cause? Then why not do something amazing this March and Big It Up 4 Big C!

From 18 - 29 March, Big C Cancer Charity is encouraging people to get involved and do something fun to raise funds. It could be anything from ditching the school uniform for the day, setting up a sports challenge, or even enjoying a bake sale. Whichever you choose, you’ll be helping to improve the lives of local people affected by cancer in Norfolk and surrounding counties.

Raising just £60 could ensure a family receiving a cancer diagnosis is provided with expert welfare guidance, and £180 could provide complementary therapy treatments to ease some of the physical, psychological and emotional side effects of cancer.

Big C is there for anyone affected by cancer, whether it’s a friend, family member or the person diagnosed. Every penny counts, and the charity is grateful for any support, so please get involved in any way you can.
