 ‘Endeavour’ is a brand new attraction for Woodside has established itself as Lincoln’s premier exotic animal collection. Endeavour is a transformation of the former Sir Joseph Banks conservatory from the Lawns in Lincoln. This magnificent glasshouse housed a collection of plants highlighting the work of this esteemed botanist. Endeavour, named after the ship of the same name that carried Sir Joseph Banks and Captain James Cook on their journey of discovery. Woodside are highlighting the various stopping points of the journey including marine environment highlighting plastics in oceans and coral bleaching from Tahiti, endangered monkeys from Brazil, invasive species from New Zealand and even the critically endangered Siamese Crocodile from Indonesia.
