Step right up to the Malthouse Theatre this Christmas as Goldilocks and the Three Bears tumble into Canterbury

A spectacular circus-themed pantomime packed with comedy, music, thrills and festive family fun will take centre stage at the Malthouse Theatre from 9 December to 3 January.

The Malthouse Theatre is inviting audiences to step right up and experience the greatest show in Pantoland as Goldilocks and the Three Bears arrives in Canterbury this Christmas.

Produced by the award-winning team at Gardner Hodges Entertainment, the brand-new production promises a dazzling blend of pantomime magic, big-top spectacle and family entertainment. Building on five years of record-breaking festive productions, this year's show is set to be bigger, brighter and more spectacular than ever before.

This magical bear-y tale is transported to the circus as the story follows Goldilocks and her family as they struggle to save their beloved big top from the clutches of a villainous Ringmaster determined to put them out of business. Along the way, Goldilocks embarks on an adventure through an enchanted forest, where she encounters the lovable Bear family and discovers the true importance of friendship and family.

Leading the cast is television, film and stage actor Emrhys Cooper, best known to many audiences for his role as Rowan Cunliffe in Coronation Street. He takes on the role of the dastardly Evil Ringmaster, bringing plenty of boos and hisses to the festive production.

Returning for his sixth Malthouse pantomime season is audience favourite Joseph Gardner Hodges as Ringmaster Fanny. Known for his warmth, wit and comic timing, Joseph is set to dazzle and delight throughout the show's run.

Joining them are West End stars Ruby Grace as Goldilocks, Ronnie Burden as Silly Billy (Fresh from Friends the Musical UK tour), Natasha Hoeberigs (The Rocky Horror Show) as Mummy Bear and Maxwell Speller, who makes his professional debut as Daddy Bear. The role of Baby Bear will be shared by Joshua Gale, Daisy Carss, Jayden Zulu and Toby Lapthorn.

Adding even more spectacle to the production will be sensational skating duo Alemekaf Tadegegn Abrham and Abenezer Niguss Alemu, whose breathtaking routines promise to leave audiences amazed. The ensemble features Ella-Mia Dexter, Maddison Gault, Kerryn Innes, Ayla Fahie and Amy Hooper Mitchell, alongside 50 of Kent's most talented young performers.
