From 18th October – 2nd November, Leeds Castle invites families to step into a world of enchantment as Guardians of the Grounds returns with a brand new Halloween quest.
The Evil Sorceress has struck again, stealing Ember the Autumnal Witch’s treasured spellbook and scattering its magical letters across the Castle grounds. Trapped under her wicked curse, the beloved Guardians are stuck in strange roles, from Kit the Castle Keeper scrubbing laundry to Talon the Hawkman driving carriages. Only Bramble the Tree Elf has escaped, and they need your help!
Families are invited to embark on an immersive letter hunt across the estate, tracking down eight colourful letters that hold the power to unlock Ember’s spellbook and restore the Guardians. Along the way, expect riddles, surprises, and a thrilling finale in the Sorceress’s chamber. Children are encouraged to arrive in their most spellbinding costumes, with daily competitions celebrating the best dressed.
Beyond the quest, enjoy falconry displays at the Birds of Prey Centre or soak up the beauty of the Castle’s historic grounds. Extend the adventure with a stay in the new Knight’s Retreat Lodges, cosy cottages, or even the exclusive manor house.
Live characters will only appear during the first week of the trail, from 18th – 26th October.
