Wear A Hat Day 2020
Bigger! Bolder! Hattier! Save the date for Wear A Hat Day in 2020 on Friday 27th March as the UK once again goes hat crazy for a good cause.
The charity is inviting us all to take part once again, by planning and hosting hat-themed fundraising events in order to help find a cure for brain tumours, the bigger cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40.
With Brain Tumour Research celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, there’s never been a more important time for schools and families to get together to ensure Wear A Hat Day is not only great fun, but is also seen as a powerful vehicle of hope for the thousands diagnosed and/or living with a brain tumour every year.
Amazing events from schools across the UK have included a world record attempt for the longest line of hats, millinery-themed fancy dress days, hat-themed cake sales, hattastic parties, brilliantly hatty colouring competitions and so much more.
Primary Times is proudly supporting Wear A Hat Day 2020, offering a prize of £100 in book tokens for the school which raises the most money per pupil.
