Stagecoach student features in new ‘Star Wars’ film

Stagecoach student Josefine who is 6 has been cast as Young Rey, Daisy Ridley when she was young, in Disney’s latest release, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. 

Working with renowned director J.J. Abrams at Pinewood Studios, he said he was very impressed with her skills. Josefine’s mum said: “Attending Stagecoach has helped her with her confidence and performing in front of a crowd. Her teachers gave her some valuable tips!” 

Her Stagecoach Principal, Shane Rising, commented: “At Stagecoach our goal is to provide every child with Creative Courage for Life, and there’s nothing more courageous than working on a film as iconic as Star Wars. We’re so proud.”
