THE MARLOWES TO LAUNCH NEW FREE INDOOR PLAY AREA FOR KIDS
Families visiting The Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, will soon be able to enjoy an exciting new woodland themed free indoor play area in the shopping centre’s family zone. Marley’s Stay & Play is a fun packed adventure play area for children aged 12 and under to enjoy.
Launching this May half term, Stay and Play will be located in the heart of the mall in Centre Court. The centre will be welcoming the new kid’s area with a week full of creative activities for families to enjoy together. Children will enjoy the woodland themed soft play with characters, including an owl, fox, deer, hedgehog and a rabbit as well as colourful face-painting from 25-27th May, daily craft until Sunday 2nd, an interactive activity trail around the centre with prizes and an online animal quiz.
Marley the Kids Club mascot will lead families on an enjoyable trail around the centre, with children needing to follow his paw prints to discover where he is hiding. The trail eventually ends at Stay & Play for some fun-filled downtime for both kids and their parents.
Cassie Peasnell, Marketing Manager at The Marlowes, commented: “We’ve invested lots into our family area this year to make the shopping mall a place that people can enjoy stress-free with their little ones. Stay and Play offers parents and children some quality time together in a safe environment.

The indoor play area is also a great way to reward good behaviour for little shoppers and enhance their shopping visit to the centre. We look forward to welcoming families to Stay & Play very soon.”
The new Stay & Play area is part of a major investment by The Marlowes and Capital & Regional to update the centre’s facilities and make it more accessible to families. Recent updates include a new family room featuring three feeding room’s, a free child’s play area, mother and baby facilities, plus additional parking throughout the centre.
Stay & Play has been designed to celebrate the location of Hemel Hempstead, a town surrounded by vast woodland and Natural Trust areas.
