World’s Biggest Coffee Morning Friday 28 September
Macmillan Cancer Support is urging
schools, nurseries and uniform groups
across the UK to help raise awareness
and vital funds via a school-focused
fundraising event - World’s Biggest
Coff ee Morning. This event provides
the perfect opportunity to open up a
dialogue around cancer in a fun but
educational setting.
Last year over 18,000 schools took
part in the World’s Biggest Coff ee
Morning and raised an enormous
£2.3million. There are many skills to
be gained for young people hosting
a Coff ee Morning, from creating the
promotional materials, such as posters
and invitations, to handling money,
understanding health and safety and
communicating with diff erent people.
