Air Space Stevenage, based at Stevenage Leisure Park, has exclusively welcomed its first visitors to the site as it opened its doors this Wednesday as a sneak-peak for the media guests.
The final licks of paint are being applied to the £1.3 million park, which is set over two floors and boasts over 80 interconnected trampolines.
The 20,000 sq ft building which is the third addition to the Air Space family has a number of of activities including a performance area and wall, air bag, basketball hoop, as well as a dodgeball court and giant freestyle jumping area. Everyone from 5 years + is welcome to join in the fun at Air Space.
Air Space Stevenage opens to the general public on August 17th
At this week's pre-opening, Air Space Stevenage Site Manager Pete Withers said: "It’s an extremely exciting time for us all, the staff have been trained and are ready for us to officially open our doors to the general public on August 17th.’
"It’s great to be able to offer the people of Stevenage a site that will give them a space to fly and try out this fantastic new center”
3.2.1 DODGEBALL!
As well as being the first trampoline park to open in Stevenage, Air Space Stevenage will also offer Freestyle Fitness – a new high intensity, low impact trampoline exercise class – for £8 a session, and Space Academy – a training programme developed by parkour specialist Sam McFarlane to take jumpers from novice to pro.
Alongside the range of new, exciting leisure activities to participate in, the site has also created 60 jobs for the local community, with a number of opportunities for long-term employment and progression.

The hope for Air Space Stevenage is that it will follow the success of the company's first two sites in East Kilbride and Wolverhampton. East Kilbride of which welcomed over 200,000 locals in its first 12 months.
