An annual favourite event with locals and visitors to the county town. The Gala evening includes Christmas markets, live entertainment on stage, street entertainment and costume characters, fairground rides, and the famous Christmas tree light switch on. Retailers will be offering free goodies and samples, discounts, and in-store entertainment too. 3:30 - 8pm.
