Religion and the worship of multiple gods and goddesses was central to Roman life. References to the gods featured in the décor of wealthy houses, and even the most modest home had its own shrine. Discover how many of the artefacts in the museum held a religious significance, and what happened when Christianity arrived. The talk is free, but there is an entrance charge to the Museum.
