Exciting entertainment, family fun and delicious food and drink at this year’s Malvern Autumn Show
The UK’s largest harvest season celebration, the Malvern Autumn Show, will return to Three Counties Showground, Worcestershire for a sensational seasonal showcase from 25th – 27th September 2026. This year’s packed programme includes the annual CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship (which each year sees new Guinness World Records set for outstandingly large crops), the prestigious RHS Flower Show, sponsored by HSBC, and a host of well-known special guests from the worlds of television, horticulture and baking, including Monty Don OBE and Joanna Page. Plus, the return of The Great Malvern Cake Off tent, sponsored by Visit the Malverns, a sensational selection of food and drink and plenty to keep visitors of all ages entertained.
After debuting in 2024, The Great Malvern Cake Off tent returns to the Malvern Autumn Show this September, hosted by TV presenter and author, Chris Bavin. Here, visitors can enjoy cake and dessert baking demos, Q&A sessions with special guests, as well as fun challenges and competitions. Over the long weekend, Chris will be joined by some familiar faces from The Great British Bake Off TV series, including Lizzie Acker (quarter finalist in the 2021 GBBO series) on Saturday 26th September, and winner of the 2019 series, David Atherton and Lottie Bedlow (contestant on the 2020 series) on Sunday 27th September.
Alongside former GBBO contestants, The Great Malvern Cake Off tent will welcome talented bakers from across the UK, including Ziggy Li (The Flowering Baker) from Leicestershire, whose stunning floral wedding and celebration cakes are inspired by her love for nature and flowers. Ziggy will demonstrate her talent for piping exquisite buttercream flowers. Vlogger and content creator Victoria Four Walls Farm (Fourwallsfarm) will be showcasing her culinary skills live at the show, bringing her popular family friendly bakes and recipes to the stage. Award-winning Worcestershire bakery, Peter Cooks Bread will share insight into The Sweet Side of Sourdough: From Panettone to Coca, Cocoa while Malvern Bakehouse will offer their top tips for Mastering the Sourdough Croque Monsieur. Jane Dunn (also known as Jane’s Patisserie), is a food writer, photographer and blogger, who has featured on ITV’s This Morning and BBC’s Saturday Kitchen, will demonstrate her top tips for creating delicious Sticky Toffee Cake and Caramel Apple Crumble Pie.
This year’s Great Malvern Cake Off competition features returning favourites, including Cake or Fake?And Best in the Business, alongside new classes such as Great British Pudding Cake, Children’s Birthday Cake, Farmyard Themed Decorated Traybake and Garden Themed Decorated Fairy Cakes. The Malvern Autumn Show is known as a showcase of the season’s very best crops, produce, food and drink. The Festival Green will be buzzing with some of the UK’s very best street food vendors serving up sweet, savoury and sizzling dishes to the backdrop of live music. The Indoor Food & Drink Market, the Artisan Food Market and the Great Taste Market will each feature artisan producers and exceptional local food and drink. At the Westons Cider Garden, visitors can sit back and relax with a crisp, cool cider while soaking up the festival atmosphere and enjoying sweeping views of the surrounding Malvern hills. Over at the Orchard & Hopyard Pavilion, visitors can find out more about the rich heritage and modern innovations of cider and perry production, sample a wide range of perries, taste vibrant fruit juices, and discover more about the region’s important hop-growing process and the role it plays in British brewing at the Hopyard Pavillion. This year guests will have the opportunity to step into the orchards for a tour and tasting, with tours held daily at 12.30pm and 3.30pm during the show (available as an add-on when purchasing tickets online.) Educational stands will offer visitors an insight into the world of fruit growing with demonstrations from the National Fruit Show including fruit pressing, showcasing the skills behind the craft of orchard growing.
The new Two Beacons Vineyard Wine Garden on Festival Green is set to be one of the most relaxing spots at the show. Beautifully dressed and perfectly positioned with stunning views of the Malvern Hills, it's the ideal place to unwind, meet friends and enjoy a glass of locally produced wine while soaking up the atmosphere of the show.
The Malvern Autumn Show has wheelbarrows-full of entertainment suited to visitors of all ages, and with children aged 16 and under free of charge, it offers a fun-filled day out for families. The Fun Farmis a new activities area to debut at the show this year, packed with hands-on games, countryside-themed challenges and interactive activities. Youngsters can have a go at hoop horse, foam sheep shearing and cow pat toss, as well as meeting a range of farmyard animals, including pigs and dogs. Attwell Farm Park in Worcestershire will return to the show with some of their animal residents, including alpacas, miniature ponies, Valais Blacknose and Suffolk sheep, pygmy and Anglo Nubian goats, fluffy favourites rabbits and guinea pigs and fascinating bugs making an appearance.
Visitors can have a go at juggling, stilt walking, spinning plates and other circus skills (Saturday and Sunday), enjoy free face painting (Saturday and Sunday) Discover the art of traditional rural crafts, from willow weaving and stone carving to blacksmithing and learn new skills and experience heritage crafts firsthand. Get creative with arts and crafts led by Art Studio Ross (all three days). Amterton Arts will be running traditional green woodworking and shave horse workshops where visitors can make items such as swords and wands to take home with them (all three days). Diatom Dave (of Fun Science Cheltenham) will host family-friendly interactive science workshops on Saturday and Sunday, where visitors can explore exciting topics and create things to take home and continue their own scientific investigations. Planting workshops hosted by Haygrove Community Gardens will give visitors the chance to get hands on planting daffodil bulbs ahead of the Spring season, meanwhile at the CANNA UK National Giant Vegetables Championship, visitors can marvel at gigantic and extra-long oversized fruit and veg. At the Vintage Fun Fair, visitors can take a wild ride on the swing carousel, whizz down the helter-skelter, and test their aim at the coconut shy (additional charges apply). Vintage nostalgia continues at the Vintage Tea Room tent, serving hot drinks and delicious homemade cakes.
With so much to see and do at the Malvern Autumn Show, a Weekend Ticket is available for 2026, giving visitors access on both Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September, for just £35 (saving £12 compared to two individual day tickets).
