Working for Families is a free service helping parents in North Lanarkshire with personalised financial, employability and wellbeing support.
Carol was feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to start. With their support and having someone to walk through the journey with her, she began to believe in herself again. She was worried about how working might affect her finances, but with guidance she secured a part time job, support with childcare and access to clothing and food during a difficult time. She explained how much the support meant to her - “Working for Families really helped me. I wish I’d known about it sooner.”
