Birthday Parties can always be booked in conjunction with a performance or as a birthday party puppet making or magic workshop, through the season. We organise the party food, the show party games and the party bags...they are both fun and educational at the same time, whilst experiencing live theatre and creative learning...

MAGIPUP FESTIVAL starts here...! An exciting holiday week of magic, puppet, paper and toy theatre shows and workshops. Keeping everyone entertained and creative - rain or shine, right through the October week. Don't miss it and you will be assured a warm welcome....
 

We are delighted to welcome back Banyan Theatre Co. from Ireland performing GRUFF The Three Billy Goats (Sat 15 & Tue 18 Oct) and Tom Thumb (Sun 16 & Mon 17 Oct). Both puppet shows are accompanied by original live music.  Tuesday afternoon's show of GRUFF will take place at the Mackintosh Church Queens Cross If you haven’t seen the inside of the Mackintosh Church it is well worth a visit.

Wed 19 Oct our cafe is open 10.30 - 4pm. Come and colour in, cut-out and make puppets and masks. We have added dinosaurs and party girls to our growing collection for all ages £1.50 each. Enjoy a bowl of soup, baking or a children's lunch box. Sokobauno will be with us for five shows of The Great Ta Da, on the hour from 12noon (11am sold out) seating just 12 at a time in an old Cheltenham Ford caravan...think George Clarkes Amazing Spaces...!

Alex the Magician will be with us on Thurs 20 for a Just Magic Workshop at 10.30am. Come and learn a few magic tricks followed by his show Big Magic Wand at 2pm and a little balloon modelling in the cafe after for the children. Don't miss the Magic Circus at 2pm on Friday with Magic Den. Both shows are always very popular.

We finish the week with two delightful paper toy theatre shows combined with a workshop. On Sat 22 Oct 12.30am, 2.00pm, 3.30pm we have Who Will Marry Miss Mouse, by Colleen Magennis including a make your own Miss Mouse after the show. On Sun 23 Oct you can see the Devil's Bridge by Sarah Peasgood at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and make your own toy theatre afterwards, remember to bring an empty cereal packet box.
