Enjoy breath-taking views of Loch Faskally at SSE’s newly opened Pitlochry Dam Café and Visitor Centre

Come and enjoy breath-taking views of Loch Faskally as well as freshly brewed coffee, tea, scones and lunches at SSE’s newly opened Pitlochry Dam Café and Visitor Centre.

The centre tells the story of the hydro revolution of the 1950s which brought power to many Highland homes for the first time.

Younger visitors will find plenty of interest including: a ten minute film on the hydro revolution as well as interactive displays on how we make energy and our special salmon ladder at Pitlochry.

Entrance is fee, and there is free-WiFi. The centre is open seven days a week from 9.30am to 5.30pm (last entrance 5pm).

Pitlochry is just off the A9 and the centre is a short stroll from the town centre or railway station with onsite parking for visitors.
