The first of a series of special events at Crownhill Fort. Ticket holders will be greeted by uniformed guides who will talk about the history of Crownhill Fort and the events that led to its construction back in the 1860s. Attendees will head below ground and be granted access to the North Caponier with its exhibitions, displays and operational artillery. The evening will conclude with firing of a Georgian Carronade and Smooth Bore Breech Loading converted cannon; an exciting and dramatic way to spend a Thursday evening.
