Free family fun returns to Festival Leisure Park this April
Festival Leisure Park in Basildon is set to host a fantastic line-up of free, family-friendly events this April, bringing together action-packed entertainment and a celebration of local independent talent.
Families are invited to join the excitement on Sunday 5th April (11am–4pm) for the Park’s much-loved Heroes & Villains Day. Visitors can look forward to meeting some of their favourite big-screen characters, alongside the chance to snap photos with iconic movie cars for a truly action-packed day out.
Younger visitors can take part in an Easter Trail around the Park, with tasty treats up for grabs along the way, plus the chance to win 4x Cineworld tickets in a special prize draw. Adding to the Easter magic, the Easter Bunny will also be making appearances throughout the day, spreading plenty of seasonal cheer.
The celebrations continue on Saturday 11th April (12pm–6pm) with the Park’s vibrant Local Artisan Market.
Shoppers can browse a curated selection of independent stalls featuring everything from handmade candles and homeware to fashion, crystals and unique gifts, all created by talented local makers.
Taking place on the second Saturday of each month until December, the market offers the perfect opportunity to support small businesses and discover something new.
Festival Leisure Park is also calling on local performers and independent businesses to get involved in upcoming markets and events.
