More spaces added for 2026 Pre-Loved Prom Pop-Up Shop at The Baytree Shopping Centre

Due to overwhelming demand, additional appointment spaces have now been released for the much-anticipated return of the Pre-Loved Prom Pop-Up Shop at The Baytree Shopping Centre.

Following the incredible success of its debut year, where more than 220 local teenagers were supported to attend prom without the financial pressure often associated with the occasion, the initiative is returning for a second year and on an even bigger scale. The release of further appointments reflects the continued commitment to ensuring prom remains a magical, inclusive and accessible experience for as many young people as possible.

Delivered once again by The Baytree Shopping Centre in partnership with Key Lime PR & Marketing, the Pre-Loved Prom Pop-Up Shop will take place on Saturday 21st March (9am until 5pm) and Sunday 22nd March (10am until 4pm). Teenagers will be invited to browse, try on and choose from a wide selection of pre-loved prom outfits within a dedicated retail space at the centre, completely free of charge. The 2026 event is proudly supported by Brentwood Connected as official sponsor, with Radio Essex on board as media partner, helping to extend the reach of this feel-good community initiative even further.

Following overwhelming demand and the rapid uptake of previous appointments, additional booking slots have now been released for the Pre-Loved Prom Pop-Up Shop at The Baytree Shopping Centre. With spaces once again limited and expected to fill quickly, families are strongly encouraged to secure their appointment as soon as possible via The Baytree Shopping Centre’s website to avoid disappointment. The release of further spaces reflects both the incredible community response to the initiative and its core aim: to ensure prom remains a magical, inclusive and accessible experience for as many young people as possible, regardless of budget.

To support the delivery of the 2026 Pre-Loved Prom Pop-Up Shop, The Baytree Shopping Centre is once again inviting the community to donate gently worn prom dresses, suits, shoes and accessories. Donations of all sizes, styles and colours are welcome, with every item helping to make a meaningful difference to a young person preparing for their prom. Items can be dropped off at the following locations: The Baytree Centre Management Office (CM14 4BX, located at the rear of the shopping centre), Dee Creases (Press On), The Keys, Eagle Way, Great Warley, Brentwood CM13 3BP, Laundry & Latte, 27 Warley Hill, Warley, Brentwood CM14 5HR, or Key Lime PR & Marketing, Audit House, 151 High Street, Billericay CM12 9AB all until Friday 13th March 2026.

Maria Kyriacou-Edwards, Centre Manager at The Baytree Shopping Centre, said: “The response to last year’s Pre-Loved Prom Pop-Up Shop was truly heart-warming. Seeing over 200 local teenagers leave feeling confident, excited and prom-ready showed just how important this initiative is for our community. Building on that success, we’ve added even more spaces to the booking system for 2026 so we can support even more young people and make this year’s event even bigger than 2025. We’re incredibly proud to be bringing the pop-up back and are so grateful to everyone who donated last year we hope the community will once again come together to help us make prom possible for even more teenagers.”
