Christmas at Epping Ongar Railway
Get your family well and truly into the festive spirit with a trip to see Santa on his special train. Along with his elves, musicians and magicians and lots of other things to do, you’ll be part of
a big friendly Christmas Party on a train. The 'Santa Special Season' is the busiest time of the year for the Railway and brings in a substantial amount of its annual income that supports the running and restoration work of the Railway.
If you can't make the Santa Specials the Railway has a post-Christmas 'Mince Pie Specials' which are a great day out. If that’s all too much for you, the Railway opens for the last day of season on New Year’s Day. The volunteers will then take a rest and open for the February half-term when it will be ‘Kids for a Quid’.
