Steam with Santa at Colne Valley Railway
Sample the atmosphere and join Colne Valley Railway this festive season aboard the heated special train as it gently steams along a mile of line (one round trip) whilst Santa delivers a present to every child on the train. A pretty line with relocated station buildings, signal boxes and bridges all lovingly restored and rebuilt by volunteers. There’s a large and varied collection of vintage steam and diesel engines, carriages and wagons that represent much of their railway heritage. Other activities that will be available are additional rides in the diesel railcar, model railway, signal box visit, and garden railway.
Colne Valley Railway will be decked out with sparkling lights and decorations. Adults will be offered a complimentary hot drink voucher to keep them warm. There’s lots of space and free parking.
