The New Maths Magic Show Primary Times Children's Choice Awards Review

Having fun with maths is the premise of this clever and engaging mathematical magic show. Jason Davison is a pleasant and amusing host and provides a highly interactive performance with children from the audience involved in every trick. His explanations are delivered with clarity leaving just enough magic to keep the absorbed onlookers wondering ‘how did he do that?’

Educational but in a fun way – even children who recoil from maths can enjoy the tricks and gain an understanding that perhaps numbers really are the language of the universe. Davison provides an accessible introduction to topics such as binary, ternary, fractals, power of nine and multiples of three. He entertains with a variety of props - card tricks, coins, and calculators then subsequently reveals his method while at the same time leaving the puzzled audience with a few choice conundrums to decode. The finale is an especially whopping brain teaser. 

Davison’s passion for maths shines through and his joy and enthusiasm ensure that this impressive mathemagical show is a hit – there were only a few spare seats left. As a free performance there is no excuse to miss it so catch it while you can.
