Primary Times Children's Choice Awards review of Kevin Quantum: Neon Future

Our Primary Times' reviewer said:

Kevin Quantum: Neon Future started with a bang, literally, and the excitement continued for the duration of the show. Kevin Quantum is a skilled performer who is also very likeable and he immediately established a great rapport with the audience.

The concept of the show is what might it be like if we could see into the future and Kevin uses his two passions of science and magic to great effect. There are a few Matrix references, my children hadn’t seen the Matrix but Kevin explained enough that they had no problem following, and the magic and mentalist tricks he performed based on this theme were truly amazing.

There was lots of audience interaction and participation, all completely voluntary and very good natured, which added to the great atmosphere. For one of the tricks several children were asked on stage, for most of the others Kevin asked for an adult. The venue has tiered seating but even so I recommend getting in the queue early as you’ll get a better view the closer you are to the front.

My children and I loved Neon Future: it was fast-paced, funny and there were some jaw-dropping moments of magic.

Our young reviewer says:

My 11 year old daughter thought Neon Future was “ very well performed, fun and funny. I liked the magic” while her 15 year old brother said “I was impressed with the magic, I thought it was funny as well. The show was very well put together and he included the audience in a very positive way.”
