Review
The Bugsy Malone is a classic musical and it is performed at Edinburgh fringe festival by Captivate Theatre's summer school. It takes place in the very elegant surroundings of The Spiegeltent. It is an entertaining gangster show with all the gangsters being played by children. This is a story about the rise of “Bugsy Malone” and the fight for power between “Fat Sam” and “Dandy Dan”.
It is a great family show. Instead of bullets expect plenty of wacky colourful string spray. The show is both funny and vibrant. It is joyfully and brilliantly delivered by young talented people. The show is splendid. We all absolutely loved the beautiful music, wonderful songs, lovely voices, gorgeous dresses and the energy provided by the actors.
