Primary Times Children's Choice Awards review of Annie Jr

Our Primary Times' reviewer said:

This all-child cast performs a charming, condensed retelling of the original Annie film about a young orphan girl in New York City and her desire to leave her horrible orphanage to find her long lost family.

There is a lot of talent and enthusiasm in this company, they work hard and obviously have a lot of fun. All the favourite hit songs are performed with entertaining choreography and the story moves at a good pace with smooth scene changes. Warbucks is brilliantly confident and Annie perfectly perky! Your kids will probably be asking for drama lessons after seeing this toe tapping show.

Our young reviewers say:

Madeleine aged 9 said: “It was very well done, a joy to watch!” I loved how all the actors were children and some were really young.

Elsa aged 5 said: “I loved all the songs and my favourite part was when the nice lady came and took Annie for Christmas at her house.”

Grace aged 5 said “I liked everything, all the people, all the songs and even all the costumes. It was great when Annie got a new locket!”
