Dynamic Earth Launches 2026/27 Schools Programme with Focus on Inclusion and STEM Equity
Dynamic Earth invites teachers to preview 2026/27 schools programme with focus on inclusion and STEM equity
Dynamic Earth, Scotland’s national science engagement charity, has announced a preview event for educators to unveil its new 2026/27 Schools Programme. Taking place on Thursday 4th June, the evening gives teachers a first look at new learning experiences designed for the realities of modern classrooms.
With schools facing tighter budgets and changing classroom needs, Dynamic Earth is focusing its new programme on flexibility and accessibility. Over the years, the centre has welcomed around 30,000 children of all ages and abilities through its doors, using immersive technology and sensory-rich spaces to make science accessible to every type of learner.
A key part of the evening will be a prize draw for a Discovery Pass, an initiative that gives free access to schools with pupils who face significant geographical or socioeconomic barriers to visiting.
Key features for educators:
Curriculum support: Access to the learning team to discuss how the new programme maps directly to Curriculum for Excellence outcomes.
Inclusive STEM previews: Live, hands-on demonstrations of new planetarium content and earth science modules designed to engage pupils of all learning abilities.
Equity in education: Information on the Discovery Pass scheme and how schools can apply for funded visits.
