Go ‘All In’ against cancer at Race for Life across Scotland
Cancer Research UK’s much-loved events, which raise funds for life-saving research, are returning. Anyone who joins between Monday March 23rd and Sunday April 19th can claim 50 per cent off the entry fee as part of a special sale by using the code SPRING26.
Every year, around 36,700 people are diagnosed with cancer in Scotland.* Money raised at Race for Life enables scientists to find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer – to bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
In Edinburgh, the Race for Life 5k and 10k events take place at Holyrood Park, Queens Drive on Sunday June 7th. And Pretty Muddy Edinburgh at The Meadows, Melville Drive is on Saturday June 21st.
Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life raises millions of pounds every year across the UK. Lisa Adams, Cancer Research UK’s spokesperson in Scotland, said: “It’s time for Scotland to go all in against cancer, all in to help fund life-saving research.
“Sadly nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime** but all of us can support the research that will beat it. Spring is an ideal time to commit to getting more active as the days get a little warmer."
