Free school activities and food for school children during Easter in Derby
Easter Promise school holiday activities and food
The Easter Promise provides free activities and free school meals for Derby city eligible families, funded by the Department for Education. Derby City Council is working in partnership with Community Action Derby to provide an active programme for the children to enjoy. Parents and carers throughout Derby may be eligible to benefit from free holiday clubs places for children and young people over the Easter school holidays, through the Government’s Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF).
The holiday clubs can involve helping young people get involved with new and enriching activities from sport to music, dance, drama, art, cooking and gardening, as well as improving socialisation, helping young people to have fun with friends during their Easter holidays.
