Learning Space at Wordsworth Grasmere

Spring has sprung, come along and celebrate! We will paint, craft, dress up and play, all inspired by the poetry and journals of William and Dorothy Wordsworth. Create a rainbow suncatcher, a pair of bug-spotter binoculars, or make a mask to pose in our Animal Parade!

Explore the Garden-Orchard and Woodland on our Georgian Tea Party themed Easter Egg Trail and win a prize! Discover the eggs hidden around Dove Cottage's site and help William and Dorothy gather everything they need to throw a lovely Easter tea party.

Spring Crafts at the Art Cart

Hands-on spring crafts at the Art Cart in the Museum. Inspired by the spring landscape and the poetry of William Wordsworth, families can create something special to take home as a memory of their day. A relaxed, drop-in activity perfect for children and their grown-ups - join us for some seasonal creativity this spring.
