Razzamataz West Cumbria Relaunch
Charlotte Young has been the Principal of Razzamataz Whitehaven for ten successful years and has launched a new school held every Saturday during term time at the Energus Conference Centre. Razzamataz West Cumbria launched on September 12th in response to demand.
During her ten years with Razzamataz, a part-time theatre school business that achieved national recognition after a successful appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, Charlotte and Razzamataz have helped launch the careers of many young performers.
These include Peter Houston Reid, a successful West End performer and currently Kai Savage, who is receiving rave reviews for his role at the Manchester Opera House as Boy Tumble alongside the Cbeebies regular Mr Tumble aka Justin Fletcher.
“In the last ten years, I’ve watched timid students cling on to their parents on the first day,” Charlotte explains. “But we understand how to gently coax these children to participate which really builds on their self-esteem and confidence. Performing arts has so much to offer all children and can give them valuable life skills to carry with them forever.”
