This is an exclusive day out on the Railway for all young engine enthusiasts! Go behind the scenes and find out how an engine works with the author of Peters Railway as your guide, plus find out all about the history of the Railway in our Museum. Learn all about how our engines work and then travel up to Dalegarth, with a ride on a steam engine, where you will be read a Peter’s Railway story. Ticket holders will receive a ride all day ticket that will be valid all day so that you can travel to Dalegarth, and each child will receive a Peters Railway book that you can have signed by the author himself! There will be 2 groups on both days at either 10am or 12:30pm. Tickets are £15 adult and £7.50 child, ticket numbers are limited to 30 for each session and children must be accompanied by an adult (1 adult per 2 children maximum). Please note: this event is not suitable for children under 5 years old due to the engineers workshop part of the event.
