Our much-loved Scarecrow Festival is back this spring — and this year we’re off to the Emerald City with our Wizard of Oz theme! Each year, we invite local charities, community groups, organisations and not-for-profits to create a scarecrow that fits the theme. The scarecrows are displayed throughout the Ford Park Walled Garden, each with a donation bucket for the group that made it. Over the two-week festival, visitors enjoy the trail, pick their favourites, and donate (if they can) to support local causes. The Scarecrow Festival runs from 31st March to 13th April and is free to visit, making it a brilliant family-friendly activity during the Easter holidays and the start of spring. Want to take part?
