Join the Litcraft team at Wordsworth Grasmere for Minecraft family fun! These free half-term workshops are themed around The Boy Who Climbed into the Moon by David Almond, a surreal modern fairytale in which a boy called Paul climbs a ladder to the Moon and goes inside. We’ll read extracts from the book together and then explore Paul’s world in a custom Minecraft build. You’ll also have the chance to find out about Wordsworth Grasmere’s own special Minecraft build William’s Childhood Adventures, which can be played in the Museum. For families with children aged 7 to 11 years old (younger siblings can also be booked onto this session and Minecraft Lego and magnetic blocks will be available). Workshops take place from 10am to 12pm and 2 to 4pm. Find out more and book at wordsworth.org.uk.
