Have you ever wondered where Beatrix Potter got the inspiration for some of the darker characters in her tales? After reading Germanic folk stories as a child, elements of these plots and characters later made their way into her own books. This Halloween, play hide and seek with eerie shadows of traditional folk characters in Wray’s indoor forest and discover the same rooms that Beatrix explored when she stayed at the castle as a teenager. Normal admission applies.
