5.30 to 7pm. Join us for a family-friendly evening learning about the moon as it reaches its brightest and most visible phase. Explore the wonders of the moon. Our astronomy expert will take you on a tour of the moon on the big screen. Then, weather permitting, we will head outside and get hands-on using telescopes and binoculars to go in search of moon craters and mountains and learn more about the phases of the moon. The content of this evening is family-orientated and suitable for adults with children of all ages. Please note if the weather is poor or cloudy the event will still go ahead. Our astronomers will instead take more time to take you on a virtual tour of the universe on the screen! Find out more at nationaltrust.org.uk.
