4 to 5.30pm. This ten-week course, suitable for children aged 7 to 16 years runs until 4th December, with no classes during the weeks commencing 27 Oct or 17 Nov. During Clay Club a series of expert makers and tutors will deliver five sessions exploring different clay techniques. Participants will gain confidence in working with clay, and learn how to model, glaze, throw and create different structures and forms with clay, during these fun and informal workshops for young people. Participants will learn basic modelling skills and throwing techniques through exploration and play, building their knowledge up to create a final piece to take home with them after firing in the kiln.
