Learn to swim with Everyone Active at Cumberland leisure facilities

Everyone Active has officially taken over the running of Cumberland Council leisure centres in the West of Cumbria, launching its award-winning learn to swim programme in the area.

The Swim England accredited swimming lessons at Workington Leisure Centre, Cockermouth Leisure Centre and Copeland Pools and Fitness Centre – run by Everyone Active in partnership with Cumberland Council – can help children to have fun and stay active.

The need for extracurricular tuition is clear, with Sport England stating that nearly one in three children leave primary school unable to swim 25m unaided.

Everyone Active can help your child to learn a skill which could save lives.

The programme offers lessons for all ages, with child classes starting at four months, right through to adult classes. All swimming teachers are Swim England level 2 – or equivalent – qualified.
