Stagecoach Performing Arts Celebrates its 30th Birthday
Stagecoach Performing Arts is celebrating 30 years of international expertise in the performing arts, inspiring children to unlock their potential and develop their Creative Courage For Life. Through singing, dancing and acting classes children are given the freedom to develop their confidence and be creative within a structured and safe environment. Stagecoach has already made a difference to over one million students’ lives worldwide.
To mark their amazing 30 years in Performing Arts education, Carlisle and Cockermouth students from the award-winning Stagecoach choir ‘The Lakes Choir’ will be performing at the Birmingham Symphony Hall as part of a World Record breaking attempt to be the largest production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr to be performed at the same time on the same date. The Lakes Choir have also performed at Her Majesty's Theatre in London and at Disney Land, Paris.
Performance opportunities are a big part of Stagecoach with students from Stagecoach Carlisle recently performing at ‘Stagecoach Live’ held at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool. Later in the year students will be performing as part of Cockermouth Live in June and at the Carnegie Theatre, Workington in July.
To finish off the Stagecoach year we will be holding our annual Summer Workshop, ‘Aladdin and the Lamp’ held in Carlisle.
