The 'zoo', created by micro artist David A. Lindon, features 24 animal sculptures so small they each fit inside the eye of a needle. Each animal is unique and can only be viewed under a powerful microscope.
The family-friendly exhibition is an immersive experience with video, integrated lighting and sound effects. Six interactive games, including a buzz tower and sliding puzzle, will also test skills and dexterity.
The Zoo is the sum of more than three years of painstaking work. Edward Hammond, founder of Smallest In The World exhibitions, said: "The World's Smallest Zoo showcases the amazing feats a human can achieve. A machine could not make something this tiny with this much detail. It is really something you have to see to believe. We hope that families from across the Midlands can come and enjoy it in Solihull."
Originally planned for the summer, the exhibition will now open this October, giving families something unique to look forward to this autumn.
