To celebrate the final day of Red Tractor Week 2014, Scald End Farm in the North Bedford Wolds is hosting an open day that’s free to the public. Visitors to this traditional farm will enjoy lots of family fun, meeting the Red Tractor Assured sheep and the farm’s donkeys. They will be able to see this working farm by going on self-guided tours. There’s the chance to meet other local farmers to discuss their important role in the community. Farm machinery enthusiasts will love the static display of vintage and modern machinery and everyone can savour the locally sourced delights on offer at Scald End Farm’s newly opened Tea Room. It’s a great opportunity for the family to see the food trail, from farm to fork. Food and drink bearing the Red Tractor logo has been produced to some of the most comprehensive and respected standards in the world and is fully traceable back to the farms of origin. Opening hours are between 10.00am - 4.00pm Free entry for all the family. Local produce available at various prices in the Farm Shop
