It’s good to talk

There’s no denying that it’s good to talk through parenting struggles… sometimes with anyone that will listen!

Apart from a listening ear, it helps to clear the mind, reminding parents that they’re not alone in struggling (despite deceptively capable appearances) and that they’re already doing a brilliant job.

No one-size-fits-all

All families and children are different and this makes the world a wonderful place. There’s no one ‘right’ way of thinking, learning or behaving. What works for one family won’t always work for another.

Connective Family are a friendly team of professionals, all parents and able to draw on both professional and lived experience. They share a parenting approach called Connective Parenting NVR, a therapeutic approach rather than traditional approaches to parenting that just don’t work.

Individual Support Sessions

One of the ways they share the Connective Parenting approach is with focused Individual Support Sessions, working with parents on a confidential one-to-one basis.

The sessions are an hour long with Sarah Fisher, founder of Connective Family, or one of her team, usually on Zoom (in the comfort of your own home) and each session is tailored to meet the parents' needs.

For parents feeling emotionally exhausted, noticing their child is struggling to fit in or perhaps they’re struggling to connect with their child and they just don't know who to talk to, a one-to-one conversation might be the support they need.
