Supporting Animal Welfare: The Lifesaving Mission of RSPCA Woodside

For over 135 years, RSPCA Woodside has been caring for mistreated, abandoned and neglected animals, throughout the Leicestershire, Peterborough and Rutland areas.

Woodside rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned and mistreated animals. Woodside Animal Centre are an independent registered charity, receiving no government funding, so rely on the generosity of the public to help fund work to improve animal welfare in the region. It costs £20,000 per week to run the animal centre so lots of events are organised throughout the year to fundraise and promote the message of responsible pet ownership.

Annual events held include a Christmas Market, seasonal car boot sales, and Pet Fest.

SAVE THE DATE: Pet Fest 2024, Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th August.
