Focus on Education

Quainton Hall School and Nursery
Following the successful conversion of the nursery building, Quainton Hall now offer their youngest pupils an exciting and enriched learning environment. They have a well-resourced and welcoming open plan setting in which children are educated to prepare them for the start of school in Reception. They have specialist teachers for French, Music, Drama and Yoga, which enables their children to enjoy a rich
curriculum where they are nurtured into confident, compassionate and inquisitive lifelong learners with space to grow. Once they are two and a half years old, children can begin Nursery at different stages during the year.

Eye Level Learning

Eye Level Learning Centres offer an education method where self-directed learning, individualised   academic coaching, and critical thinking are at the core of helping students improve and excel in their   academic pursuits. An initial Diagnostic Test allows instructors to develop a personalised study plan and   set appropriate goals based on each student’s learning needs. Perfect for students in KS1, KS2 and   preparing to take the 11+ entrance exams, Eye Level’s Maths and English programmes provide a small-   step approach that helps students master concepts and build confidence week after week. For more     information, please contact your local Eye Level Centre.

First Class Learning
First Class Learning is a worksheet based, math’s and English program. The program is in line with the National Curriculum and reinforces what the children are learning at school.“The First Class Learning English program is more than just a reading program! The Developing Understanding module helped guide my child through the given text so that she not only understood what she was reading but had the opportunity to evaluate and analyse before writing down her answers.” Confident Child = Confident Mumm

 St Augustines Priory
The grounds provide food for thought, mental space and ways of living sympathetically with the   environment. In a world of advancing technology, social media and globalisation, they encourage ‘green   time, not screen time.’ The Nursery and Prep benefit from weekly Forest School sessions which take place   outside in the extensive grounds so that the children can gain a deeper understanding of the world in a   natural learning environment. The physical, mental and emotional rewards of outdoor learning are   abundant.
