Spooky Halloween half-term fun and ghost hunt at Tamworth Castle
Here at Tamworth Castle we have planned some superb events and activities with some very spooky fun for October half-term and Halloween.
Halloween celebrations are great fun for all ages and during half-term week the Castle becomes ‘haunted’ with spooky characters the activities and games. As the week ends we have a special Children’s Halloween evening where all the family can come along in costume for even more ghostly goings on.
For the serious ghost hunters we have a separate ‘All Hallows’ Eve’ Ghost Search, where you can walk the Castle and have vigils in the reputedly haunted rooms.
We’re famous for our spectacular bonfire night celebrations so don’t miss this wonderful evening and make sure that you come early and explore the Castle before the fireworks start in the Castle Grounds.
Don’t forget the Castle is a great place to spend some time even if you are not attending an event. You can wander through stunning, intact rooms with displays that tell the story of this unique site from Saxon beginnings right through to Victorian times.
