It's all a bit Heath Robinson Museum
Enjoy a family fun day of gadgets, games and general mayhem at the Heath Robinson Museum and surrounding park, celebrating the 150th anniversary of his birth, 31st May: including an exhibition of his best humorous work, Meccano models, Art & Design activities, storytelling, alongside all sorts of zany engineering challenges: Build the tallest structure, or fastest/wobbliest vehicles out of junk or K’nex.
Keep an eye out for Large interactive gadgets too. Our star attraction is YouTube sensation, Joseph of Joseph’s machines, who will run workshops for families/children challenging them to build their own machine (out of junk) and then attempt to connect all the machines in one long transfer of energy to achieve a simple task – very Heath Robinson.
