Voyage of Discovery
Children and young people – are you looking for interesting and fun ways to spend your time?
Parents, guardians and teachers – Are you looking for a free, fun, unique and educational activity to do with your children and pupils at home?

What is Arts Award?
Arts Award is a range of qualifications that are designed for young people ages 5 to 25. Arts Award is a great way to inspire young people to grow their arts and leadership talents: it’s creative, valuable and accessible.
Discover Arts Award is the introductory level award and once completed will give the participant an official award from trinity College London. This reputable award is a gateway to advance to the higher qualifications and the more advanced levels will allow the participant to gain UCAS points; which will contribute towards university applications.
Junction Arts has created this online Arts Award so that young people can complete this award from home. We have uploaded the workbook and will upload learning resources that can be referenced. That said, our team are on hand if you need any support or advice along the way and would be pleased to hear from you.

The Voyage! How do I take part?
To start your journey, you will need to register below. This will take you immediately to the next page, where you can begin and download the suitable workbook or sheets based on what suits your ability. You will also receive a welcome email and help to get you going. You can print the pages or work on it digitally from your device. If you don’t have a computer let us know by emailing jane@junctionarts.org and we will send you a printed version in the post.
You will be guided through step by step activities to achieve your award. The key steps to our voyage are:
- Taking part in an art activity
- Finding out about an artist whose work you like
- Sharing your arts discoveries from your voyage.
How do I get my certificate?
Once you’ve finished, you will need to either take photographs or scan every page of your workbook and email them to us so that we can check it’s complete.
Junction Arts will order your certificate from Trinity College and you will receive it through the post!
