Gymnastics

PlayGym is a fun introduction to gymnastics for children and their grown-up. This 45-minute free play session offers people the chance to explore state-of-the-art equipment. These classes are for pre-school children from crawling to 5 years old.

Spaces are limited and cost £2.00 per participant. Please remember to book a space for yourself and your child.

We encourage you to book in advance via the Glasgow Club app. You can also phone Kelvin Hall or Palace of Art receptions. Please try to make payments cashless as we are trying to avoid queues at reception.

Our pre-school programme encourages parents/guardians and kids to have fun together on our equipment. This will help develop fundamental skills which are the basis of many sports.

These sessions offer general gymnastics classes to children across the city. They start at Gym Skills 1 and go up to advanced gymnastics sessions.

Our adult gymnastics class is on a Thursday night from 7:00-9:00pm at Kelvin Hall. It is a coach-led class which offers structure and a syllabus to follow for both beginners and improvers.

You can talk to our coaches about anything would like to learn that sits outside the syllabus. All abilities are welcome and there are no conditions for entry.

The class is pay-as-you-go and is £10.50 per session (£7.50 concession). You can pay for this on the night. To secure your place you can pre-book 7 days in advance by contacting Kelvin Hall on 0141 276 1450. All pay-as-you-go spaces are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Our general gymnastic programme has 5 stages. These are Gym Skills 1, Gym Skills 2, Gym Skills 3, Gym Skills 4 and advanced gymnastics.

• Gym Skills 1 is a 45-minute class for children aged over the age of 5 years
• Gym Skills 2 through to Gym Skills 3 is a 45-minute class for children who have before attended our lower levels (invite only)
• Gym Skills 4 and Advanced Gymnastics is a 1 hour and 45-minute class for children who have before attended our lower levels (invite only)

Spread the cost over the year with 12 monthly payments.

Price (per month)

For customers who wish to choose to pay upfront for their lessons. Lessons must be purchased in multiples of 10 and are also available as an annual payment (48 weeks).

Benefits of top-up:

• No queuing to re-book. Your child will remain in their class until they are ready to progress to the next level. This is so long as you have top-up credits on your account
• Access to our online Home Portal to keep track of you/your child's progress
• You can make top-ups at any time at reception or online through your Home Portal account
• You can redeem top-up credits in consecutive weeks for the duration of the credits
• You will receive a personalised certificate when your child progresses to the next level
