Nottingham gets curious!

The Nottingham Festival of Science and Curiosity is back and bigger than ever this February with a programme packed full of fun, free, hands-on activities aimed at all the family. The festival is all about taking science, technology, engineering and maths out of laboratories and in to our everyday lives.

On Saturday 15th February Nottingham will be taken over by loads of events both in and out of the city centre. Join local researchers at Central Library and Victoria Market and discover mind-bending science tricks, real-life lab equipment and exciting science games. Explore a curiosity playground at Sneinton Market, take part in a Wikipedia EditAThon at Backlit and delve into muscle body art at Broadway.

Over half-term the festival will go on the road, bringing interactive activities to St Ann’s, Hyson Green and Aspley libraries as well as events at Lakeside Arts, Theatre Royal and Green’s Mill and in libraries across the city and county.

The ‘Curious Lates’ programme, aimed at adults, includes a science comedy night, talks on brewing, internet addiction and sustainability and even a live heart dissection. There really is something for everyone!
